Indications
For the treatment and control of gastro-intestinal nematodes (roundworms), lungworm and nasal bots in sheep and goats, and itch mites in sheep.

Storage Instructions
Store in a cool and dry place below 25 ºC.  Protect from exposure to direct sunlight.

Composition
Contains 0,08 % m/v Ivermectin
* Macrocyclic Lactone

Warnings

  • Sheep must not be slaughtered for human consumption within 3 days of treatment.
  • Goats must not be slaughtered for human consumption within 7 days of treatment.
  • Sheep and goats producing milk for human consumption should not be treated during lactation or within 28 days of lambing.
  • Store away from food and feed.
  • Extremely dangerous to fish and aquatic life.
  • Keep out of reach of children, uninformed persons and animals.
  • Although this remedy has been extensively tested under a large variety of conditions, failure thereof may ensue as a result of a wide range of reasons.  If this is suspected, seek veterinary advice and notify the registration holder.

Precautions

  • Vaccination against clostridial infections, including pulpy kidney (enterotoxaemia), prior to the treatment with Ivotan Oral is recommended.
  • Do not smoke or eat while handling the product.
  • Wash hands after use.
  • Do not re-use empty bottles.
  • Do not contaminate surface waters and ditches with product or used containers.
  • Drug containers and residual contents should be disposed of safely, e.g. by burying in waste ground away from watercourses or incineration.

Directions for use
USE ONLY AS DIRECTED.
Do not dilute or mix with any other substances.
Ivotan Oral should be given orally at the recommended dosage level of 2,5 mℓ per 10 kg live body mass (200 µg per kg live body mass).
