Dosage and Directions for use, including Age and Species Dosage
Infuse entire contents of one syringe into each infected quarter. In severe cases the treatment may be repeated at a 24 hour interval.
Administration
Shake syringe before use. Milk quarter completely. Clean teat thoroughly. Remove the cover of the syringe tip, insert tip into the teat canal and inject the entire content of the syringe. Remove the syringe, grasp the end of the teat firmly and
massage the teat upwards thus massaging the content of the teat into the quarter.
Side-effects and Special Precautions for use per Species
Mastijet Fort administered in therapeutic doses is well tolerated. During all closely observed experiments and field trials, no side-effects were observed in either normal quarters or mastitic quarters. In chronic cases of mastitis where there
could have been overgrowth by resistant bacteria or anaerobes or moulds, it is sound practice to first establish the causative organisms and their sensitivity.

No symptoms of overdosage have been described.
